From Kate to Kylie, celebs are working the white stuff.
A whiff of sunshine and suddenly, white is the hottest shade this side of Summer!
Over the weekend Kate Hudson sported a classic ivory dress and floppy sunhat at the Manhattan Polo Classic and galloped off with the best dressed award, despite Chloe Sevigny looking tres chic in a cream shorts and jacket combo by her namesake designer. Sadly the Aunt Sally straw hat ruined it for us.
Kylie stepped out in a sweltering London yesterday in a cute broderie dress and lilac gladiator heelsshowing that you don’t need a deep tan to work white successfully. Meanwhile, playing the casual card, Cameron Diaz was spotted in a voluminous white cardi and tank accompanied by another, you guessed it, straw hat.
The high street is awash with white hot hits but our faves have to be this lace shift from Warehouseand Next’s fold detail dress – the latter wouldn’t look out of place on Diane Kruger , we know she’s partial to a LWD – little white dress. Along with the trend for white denim, this summer’s shaping up to be the brightest yet. Somebody pass the sunglasses…
