A double nomination! Paula Doherty, long time Advocate Artist (gosh- 12 years!) who specialises in hand applied and sewn creations has produced 2 greeting card ranges which, separately, have been nominated by independent panels (made up of acclaimed industry pros) for a ‘Louie’ and ‘Henries’ award. Her beautiful creations are sold in major retailers in the USA such as Target and Walgreen’s and here in the UK with Clintons and WHSmiths, no one can tell me if it is a first to be nominated twice but it certainly seems so! Well done Paula, shame the publisher gets to keep the silverware.
